Who we are

This website is managed by Powys Action on the Climate Emergency [PACE]. PACE is a not-for-profit community organisation, and will be referred to as ‘we’ from now on.

Using pacepowys.cymru

You agree to use pacepowys.cymru only for lawful purposes. You must also use it in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by anyone else.

We update pacepowys.cymru all the time. We can change or remove content at any time without notice.

Services and transactions

You can use pacepowys.cymru to list events in our What's On Guide. You can list Community groups promoting sustainability, or businesses that operate/supply 'green' items or services. However, all entries must adhere to the conditions outlined in the section 'Using pacepowys.cymru'. Businesses must adhere to the UK Government's 'Green Claims Code' for Sellers https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/green-claims-code-making-environmental-claims and the Advertising Standards Authority Ltd. code on 'Green Claims in Advertising'. https://www.asa.org.uk/news/green-claims-in-advertising.html

We reserve the right to ask you to change anything you have uploaded or to take it down.

Linking to pacepowys.cymru

We welcome and encourage other websites to reference and to link to pacepowys.cymru.

You must contact us for permission if you wish to either:

  • or, say your website is associated with or endorsed by pacepowys.cymru, or PACE.

Requests to remove content

Contact us to ask for content to be removed using contact@powysgreenguide.cymru. You’ll need to send us the web address (URL) of the content and explain why you think it should be removed. We’ll reply to let you know our decision as to whether we will remove it.

We collect information about you in accordance with our privacy policy and our cookie policy. By using powysgreenguide.cymru, you agree to us collecting this information and confirm that any data you provide is accurate.

Virus protection

General

There may be legal notices elsewhere on pacepowys.cymru that relate to how you use the site. We’re not liable if we fail to comply with these terms and conditions because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We might decide not to exercise or enforce any right available to us under these terms and conditions. We can always decide to exercise or enforce that right at a later date.

Doing this once will not mean we automatically waive the right on any other occasion. If any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions will still apply.
